THREADS OF ONESKY

Qasem Soleimani, the commander who brought together diverse forces from different countries, religions, and ethnicities from Kurds, Arabs, and Syriacs to Shia, Sunni, and Yazidis was able to forge a united and cohesive front against ISIS out of scattered and broken fragments; understanding that bravery speaks a universal language, he crossed borders and linguistic differences and proved that from disparate threads one can weave a single garment of victory over terrorism just as on the battlefield, by binding together various popular and military groups, he shattered ISIS, which sought to sow division, and inscribed his name in history as the man who destroyed ISIS.
