Violation of Iran's Sovereignty:
The assassination of Lieutenant General Soleimani, a distinguished member of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, occurred while he was present in Iraq at the invitation of the Iraqi government. Thus, that murderous act not only disregards the principles safe- guarding the immunity of governments and their high-ranking members but also consti- tutes a clear and deliberate assault on Iran's sovereignty.
