Qassem Soleimani: the commander who prepared the way for the Promised One

History is full of events in which the evil and good clash with each other. These eternal confrontations are not confined to any time or space. The 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran led by the late Imam Khomeini was an epic battle where good defeated evil. This political view was naturally in sharp contrast with the Martial philosophical thoughts, both capitalisms and communism
Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considered the Iranian revolution as being the harbinger for the universal movement of Imam al-Mahdi [A.S]. The true Islam which Imam Khomeini propagated through his life, does not accept the passive expectation for Imam Mahdi, the Promised One. In fact, Islam urges its followers to prepare the way for the Twelfth Imam in all possible aspects.
Martyr Qassem Soleimani, was a true and devout follower of Imam Khomeini and the current Iranian Supreme Leader, Imam Khamenei. He participated actively in the Islam’s arduous campaign against the world’s evil and arrogant axis: ISIS, Al Qaeda, Saddam Hussein, Israel and the terrorist U.S. government.
The only way to understand the philosophy behind General Soleimani’s political and military activities is to see them through the prism of ultimate preparations for the Reappearance of Hujjat Allah, al-Mahdi. He believed that the only way to prepare the Ummah for Imam al-Mahdi’s final return and to end the Islamic Ummah’s current sufferings and tribulations is to preserve the Islamic unity, at all levels.
In fact, General Soleimani was himself the paragon of unity between different Islamic nationalities as he commanded legions of Afghan, Pakistani, Syrian, Iraqi, Yemeni and Iranian volunteers who fight against the US-backed and Saudi-funded terrorist organizations, i.e. ISIS. Gen. Soleimani was the living manifestation of this verse of the Holy Quran: Those who are with him are harsh against the unbelievers but merciful to one another. 48:29
