The Islamic Missions Office in the Iranian province of Isfahan hold an event themed “Qassem the Vanquisher” in a national scale. He said the event aimed to keep the name and memory of the martyr Qassem Soleimani alive in the hearts of free people.
“Martyr Soleimani was one of the brave, smart and loyal leaders who fought the enemies of the Islamic world for years,” Sheikh Muhammad Qotbi, the Head of the office. Sheikh Qotbi added that “The method of his martyrdom by the US troops was very cowardly, because this high-ranking martyr was traveling in a mission with an official request from the Iraqi government and not on the battlefield.”
Sheikh Qotbi considered that a leader like Qassem Soleimani is a hero of resistance for future generations. He stressed that the memory of martyr Soleimani should not end by January 4, 2020 (the date of Hajj Qassem’s martyrdom in Baghdad), yet his name should be remained in the hearts every single day.
He stated that “The Supreme Leader of the Iranian Revolution considered the Quds Force as warriors without borders. They must be present anywhere in the world to defend Islam and the oppressed people in the world.”
