Haj Qasim was a 70% veteran and he was entitled to nursing. But he gave me his nursing card and password and said: “One rial of these sums is not my right! Anyone from the martyrs’ family who came to the Martyr’s Foundation and was delayed in traveling or have lack of money for medicine and treatment, give him money from this card.”
Hajj Qasim’s foot, which reached Kerman, seemed to ring in the hearts of the martyrs’ memorials. They knew their son, wife, or father well. They knew that his life was tied to the trusts of the martyrs and he would get rid of his tiredness by meeting them. The leader of the hearts did not wait for them either. It was impossible for him to go to Kerman and not bless his travel and presence to meet and talk with the families of the martyrs; And to the testimony of those who were always by his side, the great commander of the Resistance Front, whose sternness shook the limbs of the fiercest enemies, and his courage caused the great Syrian commander to say: “All our degrees are not worth as much as a button of your orkut”, along with the children and mothers of the martyrs, became a man of tenderness and wholehearted love, whose whole capital was the boiling fountain of tears. In a conversation with Sardar “Mohammad Reza Hassani Saadi”, the former director general of the Foundation for Martyrs and Veterans of Kerman Province, we shared in the sweetness of reviewing his memories of 12 years with Haj Qasem in a meeting with the families of martyrs and veterans.
Mother! Your son saved my life
My first deployment to the front coincided with Operation Karkheh Noor or Karkheh Kor in August 1981. In the first stage, we were sent from Kerman to the Karkheh Kor front, and in the second stage, another group of fighters, led by Mr. Mohajeri, joined us and we were stationed in one of the villages around Hamidiyeh in Ahvaz. “Mr. Mohajeri’s deputy, who was wounded in the hand during the same operation, was a fighter named Qassem Soleimani.”
Sardar Hassani Saadi pauses and his heart seems to fly with his mind to the southern front. He has so much to say about that young fellow citizen who does not want to lose a second. So he sums up his thoughts and goes on to say: “Operation Karkheh Noor was my first meeting with Haj Qasim, and it continued until the end of my presence on the fronts. The next operation was Operation Bostan, and this time, Haj Qasim was seriously injured. His injury was from the abdomen and they had to send Sardar to Ghaem Hospital in Mashhad for treatment. Haj Qasim explained to us that in Mashhad Hospital, Mostafa Movahedi and Homayounfar, who were both later martyred, cared for him for 20 days, because one of the doctors in that hospital was a member of a group of hypocrites and did not intentionally close Sardar’s abdomen until Get infected and kill him. Eventually, the two fighters, with the help of a Kermani nurse, drove Sardar out of the area and did not allow the traitorous doctor to carry out his plan.
Haj Qasem shared this memory with us two or three years ago, when we went to the house of the martyr “Mostafa Movahedi”. Haj Qasim told the mother of Martyr Movahedi: “Mother! Your son saved my life.” “It is good to know that Martyr Mostafa Movahedi Kermani was the nephew of Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani (the temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran) and was martyred in the operation of Jerusalem in 1361.”
Haj Qasem’s companions well remember that he waited in the alley for half an hour that day to meet the mother of Martyr Movahedi Kermani, until his mother, who was not at home, returned home. Then he himself sat behind the wheel of the martyr’s brother’s car and took his mother inside the house. That was not enough. He helped put his mother in a wheelchair and took her inside. Then he sat on the ground next to the martyr’s mother and started talking to her. When saying goodbye, Hajj Qasim kissed Mustafa’s mother’s scarf and said, “You are the mother of a martyr. “Pray that I too become a martyr.”
Our next meeting was of a different kind. Operation Jerusalem had commissioned Sardar Soleimani to launch a brigade, and he had formed the 41st Sarollah Kerman Brigade. There I was the battalion deputy commander. It was customary to hold meetings before each operation and to justify the forces by detailing the operation. In the last meeting before the operation, on May 30, 1961, after talking to the forces, when I wanted to leave at the end of the meeting, I saw Hajj Qasim sitting among the forces, lowering his head so as not to notice his presence. “It was the commander-in-chief’s way of evaluating the work of his forces.”
Destiny for Sardar Hassani Saadi was a great test and from this point on, he continued his jihad in a new direction: “I was wounded and captured in the first phase of Operation Jerusalem. When I returned home after 8 years, 3 months and 20 days of captivity, I saw Sardar Soleimani at the Kerman airport among the greeters. Then on the bus, we sat down together and started talking. Thus, our communication resumed. Now Hajj Qasim had become the commander of the army. One day I went to his office and he took over my account. Then he drove me to his house and invited me to lunch. The two of us talked that day and Sardar told me about the continuation of the war after my captivity and about the operations and the martyrs, and in short, we became closer and closer. He later attended our wedding. Some time later, Hajj Qasim gave me the responsibility and I served as the deputy head of the IRGC’s Quds base in Kerman and Zahedan. He was kind and trusting to me, and I served honestly in his collection. Then, at the discretion of the commander, I was transferred to Lashkar-e-Sarollah.
He passed away and he was elected as the commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC and said goodbye to Kerman province. We came to Tehran together the day his introductory meeting was held. In that meeting, Sardar Soleimani, when he went behind the podium to speak, said: “Today, as I was coming to take on this responsibility, I looked in my backpack. There was nothing in it! I took a bath and came to God only with trust and hope.” You see, how humble a human can be! “Sardar had a history of eight years of jihad in the holy defense, after which he had worked hard for several years in the east of the country and in the deserts of Sistan and Baluchestan to fight the miscreants, but he said he had no baggage!”
There was no one who was unaware of Hajj Qasim’s deep and strange love for the families of the martyrs. But even those who were always with Sardar sometimes did not wonder about the secret of his immense love and affection for the mothers and children of the martyrs. Now that 40 days after the martyrdom of Hajj Qasim, his will is before our eyes, the secret of this unconditional devotion and love has been revealed to us, where Sardar wrote: “In this world, the voice that I heard daily and was familiar with, and like the voice of the Qur’an, calmed me and I knew my greatest spiritual support, was the voice of the children of the martyrs, which I was sometimes acquainted with daily, the voice of the parents of the martyrs. And I felt my father in them … ”
Sardar Mohammad Reza Hassani Saadi has seen many such kindnesses of Sardar with the relics of the martyrs, and among them, he tells us some examples: “Once, when Sardar Soleimani was not in Kerman, we went to the house of the martyrs’ mother, Mohammad Ali and Asghar Mohammadabadi, according to the usual schedule of meeting with the families of the martyrs. The mother of the martyr said in her speech: “I fell on Ashura this year. If Hajj Qasim knew, he would definitely come to see me.” Until we heard about this, we decided to film this mother and record her heartache. At that moment, I called Martyr Hossein Pourjafari, who was always with Sardar, and told him the story. He said: “Call 10 minutes later.” This time when I called, Hajj Qasim answered and said: “Kiss this martyr’s mother’s scarf. Kiss her hand …”, but as if she was not satisfied, she said: “Give the phone to the mother.” You do not know what the martyr’s mother was doing when she realized that the commander was on the other side of the line. He kissed the phone that had reached Sardar and called him: “Mother, where are you? Let me look after you. Where are you? Karbala’i? …”
Sardar Hassani pauses and continues: “You do not know how much Haj Qasim respected the families of the martyrs. There was a strange emotional connection between them. Whenever he came to Kerman, he would definitely visit the families of the martyrs. He had a large number of them in his notebook and, in terms of security, went out to visit them without any notice. He coordinated others and we would go to their house together. Haj Qasim’s relationship with some of the mothers of the martyrs was very special. Always said: “When I visit the mother of the martyrs of Hindu Zadeh, I forget all my tiredness.” He felt the same way about the mother of the martyr “Ali Shafiee” (commander of Lashkar-e-Sarollah during the holy defense). This mother no longer has anyone. For this reason, Sardar Soleimani always visits him whenever he comes to Kerman. Sometimes he even called him from Syria and talked. Martyr Shafi’i’s mother used to say: Haj Qasim would call from Syria in the middle of the night and we would talk. Then he would say: Now my tiredness was relieved and I calmed down. Mother! “Go to sleep.”
A commander who wakes up in memory of the warriors
We have a martyr father named Haj Agha “Anjum Shoaa” whose 2 sons have been martyred and his 3 sons have become veterans and he himself is a 50% veteran. This martyr father was the driver of Haj Qasim for 20 months during the holy defense. When we went to their house with Sardar Soleimani, he explained: “In the heat of summer, we were moving from Ahvaz to Tehran for Sardar to attend a meeting or ceremony. Haj Qasim, who was getting tired on his way to sleep, I turned on the car air conditioner. Haji suddenly woke up and said: “The children are fighting in the heat of Khuzestan. Then you turned on the air conditioner? Turn it off. “… Our story was the same in the cold of winter. Until I turned on the car heater, Haj Qasim used to say: “How can the heater of my car be turned on while the warriors are in the cold of the deserts of Khuzestan?”
He commanded that the letter of the martyr’s daughter be placed in his grave
Haj Qasim’s love for the children of the martyrs can not be described at all. You do not know how important the children of the martyrs were to him and he loved them. Once, when Hajj Qasim came out of the meeting and found out that a child of a martyr had come and was waiting to meet him, he told his forces: “The child of the martyr has come to work with me and is waiting. Why didn’t you tell me?” The commander followed the letters and requests of the children and families of the martyrs. For his sake, he would call and order us and even turn to anyone who needed to follow up on their affairs.
On the other hand, from a security point of view, it was not allowed to take a photo with Haj Qasim and publish it immediately in cyberspace, but Sardar said that in this case, the children of the martyr are free and can take photos as much as they like. No one has the right to stop them. “They are with me.” The diary of the former director general of the Foundation for Martyrs and Veterans of Kerman Province is full of memoirs honoring the children of martyrs by Sardar Dolaha. He already knows that in order to find these memories, he must go to the brightest pages of this thick book. Sardar now seems to have reached one of these sheets, he says: “Hajj Qasim always said: “I love the children of the martyr Haj Younes Zangiabadi.”
We coordinated once and went to the martyr’s house. There, in honor of the commander and for the sake of privacy, there were curtains in the middle of the room between the ladies and gentlemen. When Sardar entered and saw the situation, he said, “Pull back the curtain. These are the children of my brothers.”
Martyr Nosratipour’s daughter’s letter to Haj Qasem
Sardar Hassani Saadi pauses and continues: “This emotional connection was reciprocal between the children of the martyrs and Haj Qasim. I heard that Sardar Soleimani once went to visit the son of a martyr named “Saeedeh Nosratipour”. After that meeting, this martyred girl had written a letter of thanks to Haj Qasim and sent it to him. He wrote in the letter: “Language is incomplete and I do not know how to describe that memorable day and the best day of God. It was the only day in my entire 35-year life that I felt the presence of my martyred father by my side, and I was really proud that, thanks to God and the success of my martyred son, I deserved your presence. ”
Haj Qasim’s reply to the letter of the martyr’s daughter
In response to this letter, Sardar Soleimani also wrote to the daughter of Martyr Nosratipour: The loving letter relieved the tiredness of uncle. My Daughter! It is this spiritual connection with you that has always kept me alive in the line of my friends. I bequeath this writing to you in my shroud, and I am sure that my savior will be in that dark strait. ”
“At dawn on January 7, along with the evening prayer robes of the Supreme Leader, Torbat Seyyed al-Shuhada (AS) and several other cases, this letter of the martyr’s daughter was buried next to the body of Haj Qasim.”
When Hajj Qasim kissed the foot of the martyr and made his way to heaven …
Martyr “Mohammad Jamali” was the first martyr of Kerman province in 2013. Haj Qasim came to Kerman for the martyr’s funeral and took over the job himself. Told me: “Let’s go to the grave together and put this dear martyr in the grave. “You do not know how Sardar was crying down there and during the funeral procession of Martyr Jamali. I was crying, I was tired and my tears were running out, but Hajj Qasim’s was not tired. I cried again when I saw his tears. When the work was finished, Hajj Qasim took out his ring and said: “Put this under the tongue of the martyr. “Then he put the special torbat of Karbala that he had with him in the grave. Finally, he bent down and kissed the foot of Martyr Jamali and said:” To thank the people and the warriors … ”
The memory of the former director of the Martyr Foundation of Kerman Province reminds me of the words of the sister of Martyr Mohammad Jamali, who said: “After Sardar Soleimani placed the ring that Supreme Leader had given him in the grave in front of Muhammad, he came to my mother and said: “Mother! Muhammad was martyred 25 years ago and his soul was with his fellow martyrs during the time of the Holy Defense. Only his body was with us and he was buried today.”
From earthquake to Khuzestan flood; Always sacrifice for the people
The beautiful scenes of Hajj Qassem and his companions sympathizing with the flood victims of Khuzestan and helping them in April of this year have been recorded forever in the memory of the Iranian people. The zealous youth of Iran well remember the important order of Sardar in those days: “Young people who were not old enough to understand the jihad during the time of the holy defense and still insist on being on the front as a defender of the sanctuary, I think they should come to Khuzestan; Because the recent incident is a defense of the shrine. “Nothing is higher than preserving human dignity.”
Talking about Hajj Qasim’s empathy with the people and his concern for alleviating their suffering, Sardar Hassani takes us to about 18 years ago and says: “One day after the Bam earthquake, Haj Qasim was in this city. Sardar was present at Bam airport that day, and although the entire capacity of the IRGC air force under the command of Martyr Haj Ahmad Kazemi was used to provide relief to the earthquake victims, he did not rest for a moment. It was 4 o’clock in the afternoon when he sat down on the asphalt, opened a tin of fish and started eating with dry bread. “From morning until then, with all the effort, he had not eaten anything.”
Now, Sardar’s words are saying goodbye: “Following the investigations in the flooded areas of Khuzestan, Haj Qasem had gone to Ahvaz in July of this year and had visited the house of the martyr” Ali Hashemi “in the Hamidiyeh area. There he had said to the martyr’s brother: “This is our last meeting and I will go to Ali Agha soon …”
3 drivers were not Haj Qassem’s busy opponents
“Sometimes, we changed three drivers for Haj Qasim. The drivers were tired, but he kept running and working. He himself said: “I leave the house early in the morning, when it is still dark, and at night, when I return home, my children are asleep and I can not see them.”
The narration of Sardar Hassani reaches the last meeting. He takes a deep breath and says: “The last time he came to Kerman was three days before his martyrdom. Tuesday he was in Kerman. He went to Tehran on Wednesday. He was in Lebanon and Syria on Thursday, and he was martyred in Iraq on Friday morning. look! He was so busy. A friend had told Sardar: Do not bother yourself so much. Haj Qasim had replied: “If I do not, my forces will not walk. I have to run for my forces to walk.” It was said that in the last meeting he held in Syria on Thursday, he had started at 8 am and, except for the limited time for prayers and lunch, had spoken to them until 3 pm. He emphasized: “Everyone should write. Write whatever I say. I have the charter for the next 5 years, I will tell you.” Haj Qasim said and the forces wrote; Five years later, after the meeting in Syria, he went to Lebanon to meet with Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, and after that, he flew to Iraq and was assassinated and martyred …
Haj Qasim’s last manuscript was the one in which he wrote: “O God, accept me clean. O God, I love to see you …” “After hearing the news of his martyrdom, his forces in Syria found the manuscript in front of the mirror of the commander’s resting place in their headquarters in Syria. The date of the manuscript was 12 December, just a few hours before the flight to Iraq.”
He achieved his dream; In the way of God, he was torn …
“Haj Qasim was a 70% veteran and he was legally entitled to medical insurance. But when the pension card was issued to him, he gave it to me with the code and said: “One rial from the balance of this card is not my right! Take it to the Martyr Foundation. Anyone from the martyrs’ family who came there and had a delayed fare or lack of money for medicine and treatment, give him from the balance of this card.” His card is still in the foundation’s office. … »
As if something had ignited in the mind of the former director general of the Martyr Foundation of Kerman Province, he pauses and continues: “Sardar Soleimani also had a special emotional connection with the veterans. On September 28, 2007, coinciding with the day of mid-Sha’ban, Haj Qasem wrote a letter to the freed veteran, Sardar “Hossein Maroufi”. At the end of that letter was written: “Brother John! Pray for me, because I am in dire need of you. Pray that I will be torn in his way by next year.” Haj Qasim’s wish came true 13 years later in January 2020 … ”
The presence of Sardar Soleimani next to his burial place in the Gulzar e Shohada of Kerman in the past years with Sardar Hassani Saadi.
Pray that I am the “thousand and twelfth.”
Sardar Soleimani sent me a message twice that: “If I become a martyr, bury me next to the martyr Mohammad Hussein Yousef Elahi. “Once, when we were together in Golzar Shohada, we went to the top of the tomb of Martyr Yousef Elahi. There I said: You told your friends that you must be buried next to the martyr Yousef Elahi … Haj Qasim thought that I wanted to say something with the theme that there is no place here next to this martyr and there is not much space. That is why in the middle of my speech, he said: “At least near here …”, but in the end, it was what he wanted; His body had shrunk so much after the cowardly assassination that he was placed in the same small space … Many said: Here, the space is small, let’s take the body of Sardar in the middle of Golzar and bury it under the dome of Golzar. But Sardar’s family said, “No. Wherever Hajj Qasim himself said, bury him there.”
The Sardar Hassani’s mind suddenly jumps to 11 months ago and sits right in the middle of the Golzar Shohada of the martyrs of Kerman. Sardar Siri shakes with regret and says: “Dear mother, Sardar, had gone to God’s mercy, and that is why he had come to Kerman on the night of Nowruz this year. I saw him that night in Golzar Shohada. The guards and those around him were standing in a corner, and Hajj Qasim was alone at the head of the martyrs’ tomb, weeping. I knew him from behind. I went and after greeting, we started walking in the flower garden and talking. During the conversation, I said: This flower garden has one thousand and eleven martyrs … Haj Qasim said: “Pray for me, I will be its one thousand and twelve …” and so it was. ”
Finally, the “Kaaba” arrived in Kerman!
We had a “real” Ayatollah in Kerman. A few years ago, when he passed away, his friends came and insisted that the necessary arrangements be made so that they could bury the body of the Ayatollah next to the holy graves of the martyrs in the Golzar e Shohada of the Martyrs of Kerman. We spoke about the legal prohibition of this issue and emphasized that the Golzar space is reserved for the bodies of the martyrs, and in the end, it is only possible to bury their parents in this area. When we saw their strange insistence, we asked why. They told us: “Ayatollah Haghighi had a dream before the victory of the revolution. The Kaaba was brought to the Golzar e Shohada of Kerman and people come to visit it!” He said: “I have been searching for years for the interpretation of my dream. However, after the victory of the revolution, when the first martyr was buried in this part of the city, I realized that my dream was being interpreted. “For this reason, Ayatollah Haghighi would have liked to be buried near the tomb of the martyrs of Kerman.”
The presence of people in the Golzar e Shohada of Kerman to visit the tomb of Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani
Sardar Hassani is silent. He seems to be looking for words to help him do the right thing. Finally he says: “Today, if you come to the Golzar e Shohada of the Martyrs of Kerman, you will see a long line of pilgrims coming from far and near, waiting for hours to reach the tomb of Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani and visit it for a few minutes. “In my opinion, the current mood of Golzar Shohada in Kerman, after more than 40 years, is the complete interpretation of Ayatollah Haghighi’s dream.”
But hear the story of Ayatollah Haghighi’s funeral: “As soon as Ayatollah Haghighi’s friends were following up on the matter, Hajj Qasim called me and said: “All the martyrs we have in Kerman were the disciples of the Ayatollah Haghighi. You should study the matter and act in a way that both obeys the law and maintains the respect of this great world.” “In short, with the emphasis of Sardar Soleimani, the body of Ayatollah Haghighi was buried near Golzar Shohada.”
