🟠 Israel’s recent attacks regime’s last struggles: Gen. Soleimani

IRGC Quds Force Commander Major General Qassem Soleimani said Sunday that the recent Israeli attacks in Syria, Lebanon and reportedly in Iraq showed that the regime is in its last throes.

“There is no doubt that these insane operations will be the last struggles of the Zionist regime,” Major General Qassem Soleimani was quoted as saying by a Twitter account attributed to him.

On Saturday night Israel attacked positions that it said belonged to Iranian military advisers in the Syrian capital of Damascus.

Iran soon denied the claims and said Israel was too weak to attack its forces.

On Sunday, Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah said it had downed two intruding Israeli drones over Beirut.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the group will shoot down any Israeli drones that enter Lebanese airspace in future because the Saturday attack in Syria killed two of its members.

Also on Sunday, Israeli drones attacked the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU),or Hashd al-Sha’abi, near the Syrian border, kilking two of them.

Israeli drones also attacked a Palestinian group in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip on early Monday.
